The SS Honor Ring was the only ring ever actually awarded to solders during
the era of The Third Reich.It is one of the most sought after pieces

reproduction Honor Ring with all the correct runic symbols
found on Original Honor Rings.Inside the band,there is
the full engraving with Slb. soldiers name,presentation date and an
H.Himmler facsimile signature.The ring is constructed
as a 2 piece with the skull being applied over the front sizing
seam.Just as the original Honor Rings were constructed.
Our ring is cast in .925 Sterling Silver.We have been offering

1st generation copy of Berthold Peichl's Honor Ring
 

For those of you who dont know who Berthold Peichl is,he was a
German man who was in the Waffen SS Allgemeine - SS in the 98.SS
Standarte.In 1944 he served with The 17th. SS - PZ. - Gren - Div.GvB.
and is also said to have worked for Gahr's Jewelry Firm,
who made all of the SS Honor Rings.At the end of the war,Peichl started
making reproduction Honor Rings and possibly was using the actual
original Gahr molds.Mr.Peichl is now deceased.The Honor Rings Peichl
reproduced are very well known among collectors and a much sought
after item.However they are very rare to find.More information about
Berthold Peichl may be read in Craig Gottlieb's book titled
"The SS Totenkopf Honor Ring" On page 89 you will see the original
ring.Our copy comes from a wax of this ring.The inscription
reads S.Lb.(Name removed to protect the owner) 20.4.44 H.Himmler

This ring is cast as a one piece ring to be able to preserve the ring
bands inner inscription.Peichl always put the S.Lb. directly behind the skull.

I would like to take a minute to talk to you about reproduction Honor Rings.There are all kinds of offers on the internet and many , many sites online that offer these reproduction Honor Rings.Prices for these rings start at around $40.00.These are usually the cheapy ones selling on some of the internet auction sites and originate from some of the Baltic countries or Poland.These are the ones you buy and once you receive them are skeptical if the ring actually contains any silver in it at all.Some sell for around $150.00 Others go for as high as $650.00 Most every site offering these rings all claim to have the worlds very best copies available.Over the past several years I have purchased many of these rings(all except the $650.00 one) to see for myself what other sites are offering.I have compared my ring with these other rings and find my $80.00 Honor Ring to be just as good if not slightly better than the $150.00 ring.This opinion is not only mine but from those of you who have purchased Honor Rings elsewhere and then being unsatisfied came here to us.

There are sites out there who claim lost wax casting is not able to produce a high quality ring and that any other site offering reproduction rings are just greedy , unscrupulous merchants lurking about ready to take your hard earned money in exchange for poorly produced jewelry.The lost wax casting method is used by most all jewelry firms and most of the jewelry you see in fine jewelry stores is made using the lost wax casting method.I dont need to go into particular names of sites that are saying all these things.Those of you that have been around the world wide web will know exactly which sites I am speaking of.Just here recently we purchased an Honor ring from a site selling them for between $100.00 to $200.00. They claimed it to be the very best ring around and that it was constructed as a 2 piece ring just as the original rings were manufactured.The ring itself didnt look to bad however upon closer examination it was found to be a one piece casting with a fake sizing seam inside the rings band.Its one thing to direct negative statements about other sites.Its a totaly different thing to do so , when the rings they are selling are being misrepresented.I think it is not right to knock other sites unless the items you are selling are beyond reproach.I am sure many of you have heard the phrase "The Pot calling the kettle Black"The way I feel about it is if you are selling a high quality ring,then your ring will speak for itself.You will receive repeat sales and build a strong customer relation.My intentions here is not to slam on other sites.I only wish to point out and correct some of the incorrect statements that are being made and try and educate you,the customer so that you will be able to make the best choices for your purchase.Silver is rising in cost at an alarming rate.When I first started casting back in 1999,silver was selling at about $4.00 an ounce.Silver was selling at $8.00 an ounce in 2006.Now today in 2008 silver has doubled from $8.00 an oz. to $16.00 an ounce.Silver is projected to continue rising in cost over the next few years due to China's high demand for this precious metal.Speculation has it that silver could soon rise as high as $50.00 an ounce.In expensive silver jewelry will be a thing of the past.You the customer could begin feeling that at that price it should be a gold ring you are purchasing.With all said,I just want to say here that we at Nazi Jewelry strive to offer you the very best reproduction jewelry available and that we always are looking for ways to improve our products.At this point I wish to thank all of our loyal customers and look forward to serving you all both old and new in the near future.
